Time to Move Your On-Premise CRM to the Cloud?

When is the right time to move your on-premise Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales CRM to the Cloud? Is moving to the Cloud even the right decision for your organization? And what’s so great about the cloud version of Microsoft’s CRM anyways?

As a gold-certified Microsoft Dynamics CRM partner, we’re asked versions of these questions all the time. We hear from customers who are struggling to manage the on-premise versions of Microsoft CRM 2011, for example, and other older versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Companies who just getting started with CRM and aren't sure whether they should consider an on-premise or cloud solution also contact us.

So what do we recommend?

Of course, every situation is different, and each company’s current system set up and unique needs drive our recommended next steps. There are pros and cons to both on-premise and cloud-hosted CRM and migrating to the Cloud may not be the right choice for every organization. But when it really comes down to it, we typically recommend a migration to the Cloud. Why? For various reasons, but most importantly: because the future is cloud-based. In fact, Microsoft recently announced major organizational changes that sent strong signals to customers, the technology world, and Microsoft partners like BroadPoint that they’re in agreement.
