Bethesda, MD-- BroadPoint Technologies, Inc. (http://www.broadpoint.net) announced today that it acquired the Application Software Group of Grant Thornton LLP and will integrate its consulting line into its own applications solutions practice. The resulting $11 million company will become the largest partner with Advanced Solutions International (ASI), and the largest Gold-certified Microsoft Business Solutions partner on the east coast.
Because of the complementary nature of the two entities, there will be consistent and expanded support for existing projects and increased capability to deliver comprehensive solutions for BroadPoint's 300 clients. BroadPoint's services include accounting software implementation, customer relationship management (CRM) services and membership management software solutions, partnering with Microsoft, Oracle, and ASI.
