Description
BroadPoint Technologies a leading provider of Business Applications and IT Solutions and a Certified Microsoft Gold Partner is looking for a bright, motivated and experienced individual to help build and grow a Microsoft Dynamics Axapta (AX) practice. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the development and mentoring of all team resources and work with senior management to develop and execute a Microsoft Dynamics Axapta (AX) vision for the company.
Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:
People
- Have regular contact with all active/engaged customers
- Oversee all Dynamics AX-based projects
- Effectively manage the expectations of key stakeholders, decision makers and clients
- Effectively mentor Principals, Senior Consultants and Consultants to contribute to their success.
- Actively contribute to our recruiting through referrals and interviewing prospective staff.
Growth
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams for resource and customer planning
- Contribute to the development of BroadPoint intellectual property, including assets and knowledge capital
- Develop potential relationships with potential clients in the business community
- Craft winning implementation proposals
- Articulate vision of post implementation success
Service and Process
- Manage team to financial and reference-ability success
- Manage engagements within schedule, identify and communicate opportunities for additional billings and achieve billable and revenue targets
- Ensure certification and training plans for all consultants that align with Dynamics AX practice goals and objectives
- Continually enhance the high level of technical competence within practice area
Requirements
- Deep functional and technical acumen and understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proven project management skill with ownership of AX-based implemetation methodology and ability to develop team PM and implementation skills
- Business Process Analysis and Design – ability to architect complex, AX-based solutions
- Minimum BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 10+ years experience in practice area consulting delivery, including customer solution development and presales
- Technical/Other Skills: practice area applications, Microsoft Project, strong background on Microsoft technologies/trends
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing people in a team-based environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Strong consulting/professional services skills and experience
